[Bug 145] New: installer speaks of upgrading from 1.3.2 to 1.2.3
http://bugs.koha.org/cgi-bin/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=145 Summary: installer speaks of upgrading from 1.3.2 to 1.2.3 Product: Koha Version: unspecified Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P2 Component: Installation AssignedTo: tonnesen@cmsd.bc.ca ReportedBy: a.c.li@ieee.org QAContact: koha-devel@lists.sourceforge.net The installer does not check whether the version of Koha being installed is older or newer than the version that is already installed. As a result, when I try to install 1.2.x over 1.3.x, it will still say It looks like Koha is already installed on your system (/etc/koha.conf exists already). If you would like to upgrade your system to 1.2.3RC23, please use the koha.upgrade script in this directory. You currently have Koha 1.3.2 on your system. even though speaking of "upgrading" from 1.3.2 to 1.2.3 does not make much sense. Both the 1.2.2 and 1.2.3RC23 installer has this behaviour. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact.
