Fwd: [Bug 8753] Add forgot password link to OPAC
I think the question below could be better (and faster) answered by the community at large. Anyone experienced with the sandboxes that could answer this first-time tester? My library recently switched to Koha, and this is my first attempt at testing a patch, but I am not sure if I am doing this correctly or if I've truly run into an issue. I followed the instructions athttp://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Sandboxes to test this patch, bug 8753 <show_bug.cgi?id=8753>. I set up Sandbox 6 from BibLibre succesfully, logged in correctly, and did not see any error messages in the 'news' area, so it seems the patch was applied successfully. Before I could follow the test plan listed in this thread, I randomly selected a patron (I chose Colin Campbell), set a password for him, and set his e-mail address to my e-mail address so that I'd receive the e-mail notifications. Then I followed the test plan. Everything seemed OK except that I never received the e-mail to reset the pw. I then remembered that by default, Koha installations do not have e-mail enabled. Could that be the reason? Or would it be safe to assume that e-mail is enabled in the BibLibre sandboxes? I couldn't find that information anywhere. Thanks for any assistance anyonce can provide! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ You are receiving this mail because: * You are the assignee for the bug. * You are on the CC list for the bug.
Hie, I'm in charge of sandboxes at Biblibre. I've testes, sandbox n°6 sends mails well. Did you check it is not considered as spam ? Test sending you a cart or a list for OPAC please. Regards, Le 13/04/2015 19:45, Philippe Blouin a écrit :
