Koha Developers' Meeting
At the last meeting, we tentatively picked Monday, July 2nd at 19:00 GMT for the next meeting. Here's the time in your area: http://tinyurl.com/3ajpxh I'd like to give the folks who weren't able to attend last time a chance to suggest alternate times, so please let us know if that date/time wont work for you and we'll try to find another. Also, I've put an agenda up. It includes some of the items we didn't have time for at the last meeting as well as some new ones. Feel free to add stuff you'd like to discuss: http://wiki.koha.org/doku.php?id=meetingnotes07july02 Cheers, Joshua -- Joshua Ferraro SUPPORT FOR OPEN-SOURCE SOFTWARE President, Technology migration, training, maintenance, support LibLime Featuring Koha Open-Source ILS jmf@liblime.com |Full Demos at http://liblime.com/koha |1(888)KohaILS

Please can this be pushed back to another weekday that week at whatever time? (I believe the two main koha-turuloj will be discussing a major koha project earlier on 2 July and can't be sure to be back online by 1900Z, while the other sysadmin is off work all that week. The rest of the week up to Friday looks flexible to me so far, though.) Hi all, Just a friendly reminder, today we've got a Koha Developers' Meeting at 19:00 GMT. Here's the time in your area: http://tinyurl.com/3ajpxh Here's the agenda, feel free to add to it: http://wiki.koha.org/doku.php?id=meetingnotes07july02 Here's the place: irc.katipo.co.nz #koha (If you're running Windows you can install mIRC (http://mirc.com/), a free IRC client, plenty of other IRC clients for other platforms, use your favorite search engine to find one) Also, MJ requested we change the date[1] as he had a conflict and I missed his note, so sorry MJ. I caught him on IRC earlier and he said he'd make it later in the day, and I promised to be around to discuss comments he had based on the logs ... Hope to see you all there. Before today's development meeting where copyright is on the agenda, I encourage everyone to read at least section 5 of my contribution to the 'copyright holder' thread posted on the list earlier today. There are some problematic issues about how copyright law relates to software projects about which which we should all be as well informed as possible. GPL developers are often well informed about copyright law, but some issues are counter-intuitive and function differently in different legal systems. If you read the long full text of my post, you can see the comparison of how different legal systems where Koha is principally being developed treat similar issues for copyright law.
