In previous version of Koha if you tried to issue a book which was reserved for another patron, you would be presented with a question along the lines of: Item is reserved, continue with check-out? If you said yes, it would then ask you if you wanted to cancel the reserve--this is helpful because sometimes a man comes in to check out an item for his wife. He uses his card, so the reserve has to be overridden, but the reserve can also be cancelled, because the transaction is actually fulfilling the reserve. It looks like this process is gone in the latest release. This is a severe reduction in functionality as far as our day- to-day workflow is concerned. It's *very* important to us that this feature be restored! -- Owen ---- Web Developer Nelsonville Public Library http://www.athenscounty.lib.oh.us
