Bugzilla Allocations
Hi Team, In the process of re-organising and streamlining things, I am doing a bit of a review of the allocations of the various components in Bugzilla. There are a couple of areas that are currently allocated to Steve Tonnesen and Pat Eyler who as we know at this point in time are committed with other activities and it would be great if a few people could help out with sharing the load. The main areas that we need updating are listed below ... please let me know if you are interested in picking up any of these areas. About (The about section) - currently assigned to Pat Acquisitions (Simple) (Simple acquisitions system) - currently assigned to Steve Authentication (Koha's Authentication System) - currently assigned to Steve Installation (Bugs with the installation script or installation instructions) - currently assigned to Steve Parameters (Bugs with setting Koha paramaters /admin/ directory) - currently assigned to Steve If any of these areas are ones that interest you, please let me know, and I will update Bugzilla. Cheers Mike

OK to squash About, Auth, Parameters, Acqui simple bugs. PS : can't bugzilla affect a bug depending on the version ? would be nice to have me for 2.2/CVS and slef for 2.0. -- Paul POULAIN Consultant indépendant en logiciels libres responsable francophone de koha (SIGB libre http://www.koha-fr.org)

Unfortunately not ... Bugzilla is based around components and it only allows us the ability to define initial owner and qa contacts for each component... there is not the grainularity to seperate that down to individual versions :-( Mike

I am interested in this and worked on it for 2.0, but I have not been following 2.1 very closely. If no-one else wants it, I'll try to get up to speed on 2.1's installer. -- MJR/slef My Opinion Only and not of any group I know Creative copyleft computing - http://www.ttllp.co.uk/ LinuxExpo.org.uk village 6+7 Oct http://www.affs.org.uk

The diffs between 2.0 and 2.2 installer : * the updatedatabase script, of course * a new mechanism to import various sql file into the DB. Those files can be selected by the user, and are in misc/sql-datas directory. Support subdirectories too. For each .sql file, a .txt file can be written to explain what the .sql contains. -- Paul POULAIN Consultant indépendant en logiciels libres responsable francophone de koha (SIGB libre http://www.koha-fr.org)
