Does Koha have the ability to build on the fly the new 13 digit ISBN's? We have hundreds of thoughsands of records with 10 digit ISBN's and if we are using that as our primary match point - new records are coming in with 13 digit ISBN's - will the index/matching algorithm compare both or create a new record for the 13 digit? Which means we would have to figure out a way to merge the records...??? David Schuster
Koha can't do it - but there are scripts out there already that maybe can be integrated in if you know how to code. One I found is this: http://ouseful.open.ac.uk/blogarchive/009058.html --- Nicole C.
