We're trying to stay distro neutral, and produce something easy to install on a variety of platforms (openBSD and en garde are two more highly secure, free systems we might choose to target). -pate

You're absolutely right.
Need to have a nice issuance of LINUX that configures quick and boom
boom
koha instals into that.
Many of the libraries and institutions that we want to attract have no interest in going though 2 days of self abuse to get something to work!
Dead on! I think we're making progress, but we *do* have a long way to go.
It's comforting to here you use the personal pronoun though. The more librarians that we have working with us, the faster we're going to get there.
