Thanks for your prompt response, Tomas! I was just chatting to Liz when I found the “legacy” branch and I was just thinking about how Ansible could be run inside the box. I actually wrote an Ansible playbook for installing Koha from packages in 2015: https://github.com/minusdavid/ansible-koha. Obviously, it is much more barebones in comparison to the version you’ve done, but it works. I suppose I don’t have much need for a Windows KohaDevBox at present, but I wanted to get all the information about it. Regarding Windows users, I didn't find any enthusiasm so far that would justify the effort of running ansible inside the box (thus removing the dependency). But it can be done. People can use the legacy one, but it needs work. I personally maintain the other one.
