Our server is a Pentium2 at 120MHz, 128MB RAM, 30GB HD The OS is FreeBSD 6.2 The performance is quite good for the machine, but compared to a normal webserver rather poor. We are just getting involved with Koha and are not in production yet, which is why we are starting with version 3.0 alpha. We have 8 Mac minis (Intel duo core processors with 1GB of RAM) each with 60GB hard drives that were purchased for another project that ended abrubtly. I have installed Ubuntu 7.10 on two of these machines so far and have successfully brought up one of the machines. I still need to do some tweaks on a second machine to get Zebra to work properly. Hello, At CCFLS our server has 80gb disk space with dual 2.0ghz processors and 6gb memory. Presently we have about 120,000 items in the collection between two libraries with about 800 circs per day total. Server performance has been good. Occasionally we experience slow responsiveness, but that seems to be due to either a slow Internet connection at the branch library or occasional issues with our thin clients.
