More and more Australian libraries are using AustLang= for the 041$a or as subject headings. The latter is easy because AIATSIS can= provide MARC records, but the 041$a is much harder. I think your best bet is to get your vendor to compile a custom authorized va= lue list for you including both AustLang and whichever other code lists you w= ant (you can see more about this at https://www.loc.gov/marc/bibliographic/bd= 041.html), and link it to the 041$a in the relevant MARC Bibliographic framew= orks. I can't think of any way out-of-the-box for you to do it without having= to add each entry by hand via the web user interface. Hope that helps! Koha can not have multiple lists of values for one subfield (041). Ex Libris have apparently enhanced 'the controlled vocabulary used in field 0= 41 $a by expanding it to include a broader list of language codes, combining = the current MARC21 standard with codes from ISO 639-3.' Is there a way to com= bine the AustLang thesaurus and the standardised MARC list of languages codes= in Koha? I have minimal experience or knowledge in this area so any information or ins= tructions on how to successfully integrate access to both lots of language co= des gratefully accepted.
