Hi Joy, What version of Koha are you using? Indexing and searching can be a complicated topic. I've been working on Koha for over 8 years, so I'm familiar with troubleshooting the backend systems, but that's likely too challenging to do remotely. You could look at Koha's Bugzilla issue tracker.
