Hello, I am part of the french group of translation. We've got questions about the project Terminology and the file terminology.po. It is very difficult to translate because it does not contain only word. Sometimes it looks like pieces of phrase, for example "define how", "field as", "screen you". I had a look on the spanish project : the file essential.po is very different with the french one. I didn't see pieces of phrase, only words and whereas the french terminology has 19 633 terms to translate, the spanish one juste has 1073. Why such differences ? Don't we use the same english basic project ? Thank you very much for your answer and your help. Have a nice day. Hi Clarisse, terminology files are custom made and depend on each language administrator. Pootle uses terminology files to suggest translations in the interface. They do not belong to a particular project, they are only to help. You can make a new one and replace the existing one, preferably with one word entries. For this look at [1]. If the generated file does not contain any necessary words, you can add it manually by editing the file. If you need help generating the file, let me know Regards Bernardo [1] http://docs.translatehouse.org/projects/translate-toolkit/en/latest/commands... -- Bernardo Gonzalez Kriegel bgkriegel@gmail.com On Tue, Oct 29, 2019 at 12:45 PM CLARISSE Axelle < axelle.clarisse@univ-amu.fr> wrote:
