Hi, [sorry if you've read this before; I sent it from the wrong account, and I don't think this went through.] I've put some xcf files in the Chinese (zh-TW) directories in CVS. If you are translating and are putting off translating the images, at least you don't need to erase the English words yourself :-) For these xcf files, I've kept the original English images for reference (regarding wording & font size) as the bottommost layer (or for a couple of them the 2nd-bottommost layer). (I have only done some of the images, mostly those on the two front pages.) Best regards, -- Ambrose LI Cheuk-Wing <a.c.li@ieee.org>
Hi Ambrose, This is exellent job ! I am glad you've made the images. At least the translation of them will go smoother. But I read on the lists that new templates will not have them, is that right? Benedict

Paul made a text version of the *-top.inc files for the intranet interface; I don't think he took out images in the other template files. So, the images that I did do not seem to be overlapping with what Paul did. (I did try to do the images that Paul took out, but those are much more time-consuming to make, partly because there are so many of them to do (30 files in total). Unless I can find a way to semi-automate the process, I agree with Paul that those images are "untranslable"; it's not worth the effort to translate them.) -- Ambrose LI Cheuk-Wing <a.c.li@ieee.org>

you're right. I played only with -top.inc, and in /default/fr

too much time consuming and not knowing how to do something like this was the reason why i go to text-only .inc :-) -- Paul POULAIN Consultant indépendant en logiciels libres responsable francophone de koha (SIGB libre http://www.koha-fr.org)
