As of 0016 UTC, the 3.4.x branch is in string freeze. Only patches not affecting strings and critical and blocker bugfixes will be pushed. My plans are to release 3.4.6 on 1 November 2011, and to move all subsequent 3.4.x releases to the first of the month. 3.4.7 will release 1 December 2011, and then I plan to move to a bi-monthly release schedule for the 3.4.x branch as long as there are applicable commits. After the release of 3.4.12 (or if several months pass with no applicable commits submitted) I will enter a motion to EOL the 3.4.x branch at the next nearest monthly IRC meeting. If you have any comments/suggestions/critiques of this road map, feel free to respond to this thread with them. Also, if you see something in master which I have missed or know of a 3.4.x patch in bugzilla missed, please feel free to point it out. I'll be glad to catch it in the next release.
