Summary: Title-ordered search results should ignore articles
           Product: Koha
           Version: CVS
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Catalogue
        AssignedTo: chris at katipo.co.nz
        ReportedBy: oleonard at athenscounty.lib.oh.us
         QAContact: koha-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net

In cases where search results are returned in order by title, articles like 'a,'
'an,' 'the,' etc. should be ignored. MARC solves this problem by having
indicators for 'nonfiling characters' which tell how many characters to skip
when alphabetizing results. This has the advantage of being case-specific
rather than language-specific. An alternative would be to have a table of
international nonfiling words.
