When an item with no author (like a video) is checked out, followed by an 
item that does have an author, the author replicates to all records that do 
not have an author field.  Also, each item checked out is displayd twice (and 
three times when another item is checked out right after it).
I have checked the database and  the item is checked out correctly, so this 
seems too be a display problem.
