Summary: patron searches are wonky when first letter of first and
                    last name are the same
           Product: Koha
           Version: CVS
          Platform: PC
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Circulation
        AssignedTo: chris at katipo.co.nz
        ReportedBy: shedges at athenscounty.lib.oh.us
         QAContact: koha-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net

Normally, when you search for a patron (member.pl), you can limit the search by
entering the first letter of the patron's first name -- e.g. "Smith, C" only
returns hits on patrons with the last name 'Smith' and a first name starting
with 'C.' If, however, the first letter of the first name is the same as the
first letter of the last name, all borrowers with that last name are returned,
e.g. "Smith, S" returns everyone with the last name 'Smith.'
