OK, my investigation has turned up a slightly different problem (one for Paul,
probably):

A title search for the video "9/11" returns a hit.  The 246a tag for this record
also has the variant titles "Nine eleven" and "Nine-eleven," but neither of
these searches return the correct hit.  Tag 246a is mapped to biblio.unititle. 
However, biblio.unititle for this record is null -- the tag was not loaded. 
(bibid=131424, biblionumber=131425).

Here's the nasty part of this problem:  tag 246a is repeatable, because there
may be several variant titles.  biblio.unititle is (of course) not repeatable,
nor is any other column in the 'old' Koha DB.  So there is no way to map variant
titles.  This bug may be impossible to fix.
