Stephen has given us a fix for this, and I've committed it along with
modifications to the css, default, and vanilla templates.  The only gotcha is
that subjects which contain commas ("Millhone, Kinsey") will be treated as two
separately linked subject headings because of the way Search.pm returns the list
of subjects.
