...OPAC should be made much more powerful.  See this example of a more flexible
and useful search:

The example shows how multiple fields can be specifically targeted or excluded
using boolean operators, and searches can be limited by date, item type,
language, etc.  The multiple-field construction allows you do perform AND and
NOT searches on the same field (title = dog NOT pet) rather than having only one
search box per field.
