I think I found the problem (certainly at least part of the problem).

Biblio.pm (Revision 1.78.2.6, etc.) has a type in line 1488:

 notforloan=?,

should be

 notforloan=?

(get rid of the comma, please, it crashes the SQL -- thanks!)
