NPL's staff would like to have a search-by-barcode option on the cataloging
home page (addbooks.pl) that would bring up the additem screen for that biblio.
This is very useful when you're doing cataloging maintenance for a particular
item you have in hand. Scanning the barcode is a fast and reliable way of
brining up the correct record. Forwarding directly to the additem screen allows
for quick changes  to (or deletion of) the item in hand.
