           Product: Koha
           Version: HEAD
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux - Debian
            Status: NEW
          Severity: major
          Priority: P3
         Component: Searching
        AssignedTo: jmf at liblime.com
        ReportedBy: cnighswonger at foundations.edu

When any search terms/parameters are entered into the advanced search in the

Re:

<fbcit> QueryStemming If ON, enables query stemming OFF Edit Delete
<fbcit> QueryWeightFields If ON, enables field weighting OFF
<fbcit> :-)
<hdl> fbcit: sometimes, OFF is not 0 value but 'OFF'
<hdl> (I had this WEIRD behaviour)
* fbcit looks in mysql
<hdl> So I had to set it on then off again
<hdl> +
<hdl> Maybe NoZebraIndexes is not set for you.
<hdl> Please have a look.
<fbcit> hdl:| NoZebraIndexes | 0     |         | Enter a specific hash for
NoZebra indexes. Enter : 'indexname' => '100a,245a,500*','index2' => '...' |
Free |
<fbcit> Query* = '0'
<fbcit> also
<hdl> :(
<fbcit> set on and then off again....
<hdl> So... You should make
<hdl> misc/migration_tools/rebuild_nozebra.pl -s
<hdl> to set it to a first "proper" value.
<hdl> Here you index Nothing.
<fbcit> should see things like:
<fbcit> 0 at /usr/local/lib/perl/5.8.8/C4/Biblio.pm line 3128.
<fbcit>                 'title' => '245a,245b at
/usr/local/lib/perl/5.8.8/C4/Biblio.pm line 3128.
<fbcit> ?
* fbcit wonders....
<fbcit> it works now... :-)
<fbcit> hdl: so, exactly what was wrong? besides all of the zebra prefs set
wrong?
<fbcit> well...
<hdl> Normally,
<fbcit> it works in opac, but not in the backside...
<fbcit> staff client...
<fbcit> that is
<hdl> have you tried in the main staff search box ?
<hdl> or in advanced search ?
<hdl> In advancedsearch, you have to build indexes.
<fbcit> hdl: works in the global search header, but not in the advanced
search...
<hdl> yeah.
<fbcit> use the rebuild script again?
<hdl> what do you have now in NoZebraIndexes ?
* fbcit started out learning koha backwards....
<fbcit> 0
<hdl> Then it wouldnot be worth rebuilding indexes.
<fbcit> what should I have there?
<hdl> Something like :
<fbcit> my bad...
<fbcit> 'title' => '245a,245b', 'author' => '100a', 'isbn' => '020a', 'issn' =>
'022a',...
<hdl> http://pastebin.com/m7dbc2c28
<hdl> yes quite
<hdl> If you have that.
<hdl> Then you can rebuildnozebra.pl
<fbcit> so this associates friendly names with marc tags?
<fbcit> still no advanced search...
<fbcit> rebuild_nozebra.pl appears to be complaining about something...
<kados> fbcit: I can confirm adv search doesn't work in nozebra mode
