In NPL's dev_week installation, additem.pl's list of existing items has these
headings:

 Status (onloan), Home Branch), Holding Branch, Item Call number, Barcode,
Cost, replacement price, Date acquired, Price effective from.

Notably missing from the same table in 3.0: Status (onloan), and Cost,
replacement price. Should these columns be configurable from the MARC
framework? Ideally, information could appear in the list of existing items
without appearing in the item editor and vice-versa. i.e. we don't want to be
able to edit status (onloan) but would like to see it, and would like to be
able to edit public note but don't need to see it displayed here.
