Upon further investigation I've discovered a whole host of serious issues with
status display of items in search results and on the detail pages ... there
have been major changes since rel_2_2 and dev_week that need to be fixed, and
it's fairly serious as the statuses often conflict, etc. I'm bumping this one
up to blocker to make sure it gets prioritized. I'll be working to resolve it
asap.
