I am using Serials with the following configuration: 

- MARC Flavour - MARC21
- Serials Add Items - ON
- Using the "Serials Framework" that came with the installer for cataloging. 

I have setup a very simple subscription for a journal that is recieved 12 times
a year (1 per month). 


When I go to recieve a new issue of the journal - the Author field (100a) is
being populated with the acquisition date. 

I have now received 3 items and when I look at the MARC view in the OPAC I see: 

100 -MAIN ENTRY--PERSONAL NAME
