There is no official 3.0 installation tarball yet (which is why I'm marking
this as INVALID for now - can reopen/reassign later if that's wrong).  Which
tarball were you using?

Instructions for rebuilding the tarball from the git tree are given with
"perldoc Makefile.PL".
