paul, I think you're confusing this bug with Bug 1119 or something similar.
This bug relates to the display on OPAC and intranet pages of the "waiting"
status for items which have been returned and allocated for a patron but
haven't yet arrived at their destination branch.

This bug still exists in 3.0 on the circulation page, at least:  I have a
message on a patron screen that says "This patron has holds waiting: * The
Javascript Anthology (Books, Booklets, Workbooks), author : , reserved the :
18/09/2007 waiting at : Chauncey Public Library"  ...but down below it says
"This hold hasn't been transfered yet from library : Main Library."
