Steps to reproduce this bug:

1. Start with expired patron.
2. Attempt to check out item which is on reserve for another patron.
3. Koha will ask if you wish to override the existing reserve.
4. Confirm and the item will be successfully checked out.

Under normal circumstances Koha correctly blocks checkouts to expired patrons.
