I agree - and by added you mean until an item is added to the collection. 
Either way I think the patron should also get an email if they have provided
and address - otherwise they probably won't be checking their suggestions
regularly.

The first time I did this the accepted suggestion stayed on the list and said
"accepted."  Somewhere in the last couple of weeks this changed.
