I'm having a similar problem to the one that was reported by Beverly Church: an
"Advanced Search" is NOT working for searches for "Item Types". If I select an
item type checkbox (in the "Limit type to: match any of the following:" section
of the "Advanced Search" screen) and then press the "Search" button, I always
get 0 results - "No results found". 


For example, a search for the first Item Type that I have defined ("Article"
type with Code "1") returns the following:

No results found

No results match your search  with limit(s): 'mc-itemtype:1'. 
____________________



I'm using Koha 3.0 Final (Koha versions is 3.00.00.107) in an installation that
has been migrated several times from Koha 3 Beta 2, then to several development
("git") versions and now is at Koha 3.0 Final.

I'm running Koha 3.0 in Linux - openSUSE 10.3 (VMware Virtual Machine) with
default versions of Apache, MySQL and Perl (MySQL 5.0.45, Apache 2.2.4 and Perl
5.8.8).

This is an UNIMARC installation and I'm NOT using Zebra ("NoZebra").

I tried to change the 'itemtype' line to:
 'mc-itemtype' => '200b,990c,995r',
... and then to: 
 'mc-itype' => '200b,990c,995r',
... and then to: 
 'itype' => '200b,990c,995r',

... BUT the problem remains!
