Adding to this for a new vs upgraded from 3.0x database, or 3.0 prerelease db:

$DBversion = "3.00.00.031" adds some sysprefs.

INSERT INTO `systempreferences` (variable,value,explanation,options,type)
VALUES('maxItemsInSearchResults',20,'Specify the maximum number of items to
display for each result on a page of results',NULL,'free')

This one isn't in kohastructure.

It would be really useful to add to the test suite a test for update database:
install the 3.0 release database, run updatedatabase on it, then compare with
the current kohastructure.

Minimally, maxItemsInSearchResults needs to be added, but there may be others.
