Another working example which moves the similar items into a tab:

I thought the NEKLS example
(http://zivotdesign.com/examples/opac-detail-nekls.html) would be the way to
go, but that choice really only looks good if you've got several similar titles
to display. Fewer, and it looks very awkward.

Putting the similar titles into a tab has a couple of disadvantages:

1. It hides interesting content. The same could be said of any of the other
tabs, I suppose.
2. The 'Similar' and 'Editions' tabs might be confusing in their similarity.
I'm not sure if there's a better way to label these. I do know that I want to
limit the length of the labels to prevent the tabs from getting too wide and
wrapping at lower screen resolutions.
