Yes, i think the only solution is to add the audible alert to Koha ( a patch
has been submitted for this, but not yet pushed ), thus getting two beeps --
one for a valid scan from the scanner and one for a successful transaction from
Koha.

Alternately, staff will have to learn to watch the screen, as Owen suggests.

I suggest marking this as duplicate of 1080.
