I don't think I have the right data to trigger this bug, so a screenshot would
be helpful. There is a jquery pagination plugin, but using it would still
require the page to load all the page links before they could be hidden and
reformatted with javascript.

Since Koha uses a pagination script to generate these links, perhaps that
should be the focus rather than looking for a client-side fix?
