When the PDF is generated it reads:

<pre>GLOB(0x99efc18) not a PDF file version 1.x at
/usr/share/perl5/PDF/API2/Basic/PDF/File.pm line 302.</pre>

when opened up in a text editor.

This is with the OrderPdfFormat system preference set to
pdfformat::layout2pages
