Acquisitions have been totally rewritten for 3.2.0

I would thoroughly recommend upgrading to that once it is released. 2.2.9 is
unsupported now, and will not get any fixes made to it.

If you can't use linux/POSIX then Chris Nighswonger has done some work on
getting 3.2.0 to the point it is almost installable on windows.
