This is very weird - I have poked at it some more and think it has something to
do with refreshing ... 

If I click on my purchase suggestions tab it shows my suggestions.  But after I
submit a new purchase suggestion I'm brought to a blank list of suggestions ...
until I hit refresh, then I see the suggestions.
