If you add the "categorycode" field to the list of mandatory borrower fields
for the patron preference BorrowerMandatoryField, the following error message
appears when you try to save the patron record:

           The following fields are mandatory:

           categorycode

Patron records cannot be saved until the "categorycode" field is removed from
the list of mandatory fields.
