I agree, or a drop-down branch selection widget with (none) as default. 

This code also needs to be modified to work with multiple items on a serials
bib so more than one can be pulled at a time linked to a single bib. 

Trying to find the status of the proposed 'series or serials' flag. Does anyone
have info on such a flag?
