Apparently because you're editing a child patron! In the template:

<!--TMPL_IF Name="C"-->
      <h2>Patron</h2>
...
        Email (home): </label>
...

The template checks to see if you're editing a child patron, and displays the
extra "Email (home)" -- this time for borrowers.B_email. I'm not sure what the
logic behind it is, though.
