Yes, you make valid points.

I think there may be still some code from Pat Eyler got rss feeds going from
Koha. One of the first things he did was a recent acquisitions feed.

Or we could extend the guided reports, allow people to choose the format eg
rss, atom, csv etc, and then also allow them to make them public.
So you could allow the library to construct and rss feed for anything that way.
