Oh no.  I just want to remove the non-functioning confusing bits from the
opac-userupdate page.  Nothing else.

Unless we create a preference that enables the patron not to edit these options
themselves.  If so then we do need these checkboxes to be functional on the
opac-userupdate page.

Having the ability for the library to which message types to enable would be
great.
