My understanding of the terms as used by acq librarians.
list price : The published price in the vendor's catalogue i.e. without any
discount applied and in the original currency.
vendor price is a bit ambiguous it could be a synonym for list price or it
could mean that price - discount
ordering price - so vague as to be meaningless
RRP - in the UK this was the list price (recommended retail price) in Koha its
used for replacement price (not necessarily 100% consistently)
and as for gst I think we should use tax
Can I suggest if we reach a consensus then me put the preferred terms on a wiki
page, defining the meaning and how they interrelate, something Nicole to
encorporate into the documentation
