The trouble with that search is that it searches a very specific thing:
authority records. I think this functionality is only of interest to librarians
or specialized subsets of library patrons like academic researchers or other
who would have reason to know what authorities are. The good news is that this
search can be hidden in the OPAC with the OpacAuthorities system preference.

I would frame the question this way: Given the fact that an authority search is
only useful to someone with specialized knowledge, what is a logical label for
that search? Is there a reason to even give it an "average patron friendly"
label? Or should it just be labelled what it is: "Authority search?"
