Closing as issue now resolved. The enddate field was added but is not being
utililized whereas expiry date is being recalculated, with no reference to it.
The expiry date should really be stored in the subscription record so that
active subscriptions can be identified e.g. by reports. Looking to improve
consstency of handling in 3.4
