re the yes/no fields that are not a checkbox (Allow on shelf holds): it would
be nice if the 3rd state were explicit so the field would have 'yes, no,
inherit' as options.

the behavior could be the same (it can show the inherited value) I just think
that when you're picking, you would need to know what the blank option was
