Reclassifying this report as an enhancement request, since the items to indeed
come over, and can be deleted after the merge (if the librarian chooses). 
Adding a mechanism for not carrying over certain items would be a nice feature
to add, but since it only saves steps, I don't think it should be listed as a
bug.
