Some comments, after testing:

1. This completely breaks subject searching for users with JavaScript disabled.
It should gracefully degrade.
2. The behavior of these menus doesn't follow that of other menus in the OPAC
like the Lists menu or the "More searches" menu. If we're going to add this now
we really should have it use the YUI Menu library so the interactions are
consistent.
