It doesn't work for me.
Tested:
 - Add biblios to my cart, show my cart, and click on "Batch Edit"
    Nothing happens, except that all biblios in my cart disappear.
 - Go directly to tools/batchedit.pl
    It appears that it works (Status 'OK') but the biblios aren't modified.

Moreover the title page of batchedit.pl is "Batch Deletion of Items" which is
clearly not good.
